In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan then smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
Remove cake from oven then let it cool in the pan for 10 mins.
Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust powdered sugar on the Japanese Souffle Cheesecake before serving.
